Description: The palace was exceptionally constructed of baked brick and originally richly embellished with marble, painted stucco panels, opulent carpets and textiles. Fragments of stucco panels that decorated the interior walls of the palace at Ctesiphon include floral motifs, beribboned ram, and a royal emblem placed on a pair of wings, in the Berlin State Museum, and a game-hen, in the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York.
