Description: Building D at Bishapur is a court with elaborate floor mosaics that depict nobles, musicians and garland bearers, and isolated human heads reminiscent of Roman theater masks. The use of floor mosaic and the choice of motifs though familiar from Roman Syria, are adapted here to Sasanian Persian taste
