Map Timebar
The ability to dyanically view map content based on time as wells as place is an unique feature of TimeMap. When the features on the map include time values as part of the attribute data, geographic data with corresponding temporal data, the display of those features change as the timebar is adjusted to reflect different points or ranges of time.

Use the tool buttons on the timebar and slide the triangles at the ends of the lower bar to set a time period for the map display. The maximum time range depends on the start and end time values for the data. The range can be limited to the smallest unit of time for the data (year, month, day, hour) depending on the nature of the temporal data.

A 2-step process to adjust the time range and zoom in on the timebar

Experiment with the additional function buttons of the timebar and move the time slider bar to see the map change based on the temporal values for the map content.
